Over time, pollution, UV light and everyday deposits dull the frame profiles of windows and doors. Depending on their condition, ANGEVO distinguishes three levels of intervention: cleaning, decontamination and Colour Restoration. For some of these services, ANGEVO relies on the professional products and protocols of Novatio, which offers a range dedicated to windows and doors.
Frame profiles are constantly exposed to several factors:
According to Novatio, cleaning with water mainly removes visible dirt. It can leave behind a microscopic film of pollutants and grease. The right level of intervention therefore depends on the actual condition of the frame profiles.
Cleaning maintains the surface. Decontamination is a deep clean that removes the contaminants left behind by ordinary cleaning. Colour Restoration aims to treat and revive the colour of the frame profiles, after cleaning.

Novatio distinguishes three types of dirt on windows and doors and matches each with a professional product:
Dust and visible dirt (sand, particles)
FA Clean, a non-abrasive cleaner, used as a foam or a liquid.
Resins, tar, adhesive or sealant residues
Safety Clean, an aerosol solvent, followed by a post-clean with Multifoam.
Grease and micro-soiling (fingerprints, residual film)
Multifoam, a non-abrasive cleaning foam.
The choice and order of the products depend on the contamination found on site. ANGEVO may define a product, protocol or method where safety, quality, conformity of the result or the characteristics of the service justify it.
Novatio brings these three products together in a kit, the Deep Clean Box Windows and Doors, along with Surface Renewer, which is used for Colour Restoration.
Colour Restoration aims to treat and revive the colour of frame profiles. Depending on the condition of the substrate, the material, and its exposure and maintenance, it may help to improve how well the colour holds over time.
For this service, the Provider is required to use the products and protocol defined by ANGEVO and to comply with their application instructions. The same protocol framework therefore applies to all Providers, with the adjustments provided for according to the substrate and the condition observed.
The service does not cover bare aluminium, or surfaces that are not covered by the product documentation. For wood, ANGEVO only offers washing, shampoo treatment and maintenance.
The ANGEVO protocol uses Surface Renewer. Novatio presents this ready-to-use product as intended for treating UV damage on lacquered surfaces (windows, doors, shutters…) and on PVC. It is applied after cleaning, only on these surfaces and under the conditions set out in its technical data sheet.
These limits are set out in the Terms of Use — Customer Area (Article 5) and in the Terms of Use — Provider Area (Article 13).

Documentation consistent with the substrates we work on
The substrates covered by Novatio's documentation, in particular PVC and lacquered surfaces, match the frame profiles on which ANGEVO Providers work.
Novatio acts as a technical reference for products and protocols. The ANGEVO Partner Programme, for its part, is intended for window installers and exterior joinery companies.
Where a service concerned requires Novatio products, the ANGEVO app directs the Provider to the required products. Orders placed in this context are made directly with Novatio through its Pro Shop, under its terms and prices. ANGEVO is not a party to the sale, delivery or after-sales service.
The Provider may not present Colour Restoration to the Customer as guaranteeing a return to the original condition or as ensuring that the colour will be maintained for any fixed period.
Yes. Novatio recommends regular maintenance, supplemented by a deep clean once or twice a year. Maintenance also affects how well the colour holds over time.
No. According to Novatio's documentation, Surface Renewer is applied to a surface with a temperature between +10 and +30 °C. The products are not applied in direct sunlight or on a hot surface. These conditions may affect when the intervention takes place.
They are professional products: some are flammable or irritant. They are applied by professionals, in accordance with the technical data sheets and safety data sheets published by Novatio.
No. The Provider works with their own equipment. For Colour Restoration, they use the products defined by ANGEVO.
Each frame profile manufacturer publishes its own maintenance recommendations. If your windows are still under warranty, check these recommendations and report any restrictions before the intervention.
Report it to ANGEVO within the periods set out in the Terms of Use. ANGEVO examines the complaint, in particular using the photos. If a performance defect is found, ANGEVO selects a proportionate solution: touch-up, intervention by another Provider, refund or price reduction.
A pre-existing defect in the window frame or an aesthetic result that is objectively impossible to achieve does not constitute a performance defect.
